The large elephant ears signify that a perfect person is the one who possesses a great capacity to listen to others and assimilate ideas. The trunk is so strong that it could hold anything and everything in the world signifying high adaptability and efficiency. The two tusks are representative of human emotions and wisdom. While one of his hands contains a modak, the other one is turned toward the world in a blessing pose known as ‘Abhaya mudra’.
